Tiffany Alford serves as the Children’s Resource Center Manager at Niswonger Children’s Hospital, overseeing the injury prevention and health promotion outreach conducted by the Children’s Hospital for a 21-county service area across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The Children’s Resource Center team has a goal of preventing injuries before they happen in order to prevent hospital visits, as well as improving the overall health and wellness of children throughout the region. Tiffany has found her passion in this work and is dedicated to improving the safety of children throughout the region and beyond and is a huge “safety nerd” – especially when it comes to car seats.
Tiffany graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health administration from East Tennessee State University’s College of Public Health and is a graduate of the Roan Scholars Leadership Program. She is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and Instructor and is trained in seating for children with special healthcare needs. She was also named Tennessee’s 2025 Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor of the Year. Tiffany is proud to call Northeast Tennessee home. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Sam, and their two cattle dogs, Bandit and Bonnie.
