Amanda Barlow Leitch is a Middle Tennessee native, born and raised in Overton County. She began her career with Alzheimer’s Tennessee in 2006 as the Alzheimer’s Tennessee Cumberlands Regional Director and continued to provide services to local families until December 2017 when she moved to Parsons, Tennessee. Amanda has worked in the aging community for over 25 years and serves on many committees and focus groups that focus on the Alzheimer’s community. In July of 2019, Alzheimer’s Tennessee opened a West Tennessee regional office to provide programs and services to families in the 21 counties that make up the West Tennessee region. Amanda has a passion for the Alzheimer’s community and a heart to serve individuals and their families who are battling this long disease. Her role as regional director allows her daily opportunities to bring education to our community, training caregivers on ways to better interact with their family members and bring awareness to the many services that Alzheimer’s Tennessee can provide. Amanda is also a certified Dementia Practitioner and continues to be an asset to our community. She enjoys spending time with her husband TJ, their families, and competing in AKC/UKC hunt test with their dogs. During her spare time, you will find Amanda exploring antique stores, trying out a new recipe, traveling to new places, and serving in her local church while always wearing a smile on her face.
