Julie Brewer has served Tennessee Tech University since 2007, specializing in traffic safety and injury prevention. Since 2019, she has directed the TN Occupant Protection Center, managing statewide CPS Certification for over 1,100 technicians. A CPST Instructor with specialized training in special needs transportation and school bus safety, Julie is also a National Safety Council Occupant Protection Specialist. Nationally, she serves as the NHTSA State Contact for OP and CPS. Additionally, Julie holds executive leadership roles with the National Association of Women Highway Safety Leaders and contributes to the National Digital Check Form Development Team.
